Systematic Rearrangement with Red X

This is the first rearranged photorealist portrait I did. 2006. This is a Photorealist painting wherein each increment of the photograph was transcribed upside down. Because there is no clear illusionistic image, I arranged the photo so that there is a red X in the painting, which is an homage to Malcolm Morley's red X.
