This is a painting based on Taylor Martin's photograph, which is based on Chuck Close's 1968 self portrait. It is Taylor's self portrait using Chuck Close's style, and my identity (my fingerprint). The space between the photographs is there to show that the painting is not an illusion, but an object on a wall.
