'Process and Documentation' Installation Detail

This is a detail of an installation I made at the Odessa gallery in Memphis, TN. The show was filled with painting, a process that has already been recorded; and mirrors, the reflection of a process as it is happening. It brought to attention the viewer's interaction with the work of Art, and its possible inclusion as part of that work of Art. I painted all of the work in the background, but it's largely based on collaborative drawings by Alex Harrison and I.
